THE MASTER SHOE MAKER Zane has designed this shoe class without pre-made items and you will complete this shoe with no drying time. This shoe is a size 6 and it does not look like it was make for Herman The Monster!
(This price includes patterns that you can hand cut a gumpaste shoe with and foam Shoe Ramp $25.00 value)!
Silicone Heel Mold cost is $35.00 and cutter set for $45.00 if you wais to purchase it after the class.
Students will learn:
- how to make patters for new shoe designs
- cutting out the design
- the proper way of using a texture rolling pin, without the seams
- using special supports (This is our design)
- assembling/gluing the shoe without any drying time
- using Lucks prints (Norm & Zane are the only cake artist working with Lucks in developing and designing new products) www.lucks.com

All supplies and equipment for this class are included in the price. All you need to do is show up ready to learn!
All class sales are final but may be transferred to another individual. If class minimum enrollment is not met with 24 hours prior to the start of class Little Bitts may cancel the class. Participants who have already paid will have the option of payment being returned in full or credit transferred to another class.
This class will be taught by Chef Norman and Chef Zane, who are co owners of Norm & Zane The Sweet Life LLC., a custom cakery in Annandale, Virginia. They are an award-winning Chocolatier, Pastry Chefs and they are famous for their White Chocolate Curl Cake, three-dimensional chocolate figurines, painting on cakes, high heel shoes, and jewelry all in sugar. This is just to name a few of their sugar tenants.
They are working with some major cake companies such as Sweet Art Galleries/Choco-PanTM, LucksTM, The Sugar ArtTM, The Swiss ColonyTM, and ClearViewMoldsTM in developing tools along with edible products.
They have demonstrated and taught at the Smithsonian in Washington DC, ICES Conventions all over the USA, Stratford College School of Culinary Arts, Canada, Dubai, Africa and many other events in the cake
world. They are often featured on many TV shows: Historic Tours and Recipes, Fox 5 News, Good Morning Washington, Channel 10 news, A & E TV, Dubai TV, they have competed in thirteen Food Network Challenges and four with TLC/ Discovery, The Cooking Channel, CMT network, and A & E TV. They also have been seen on the Oprah Show, Talk Soup, and Four Weddings.
Some of the cakes they have designed; were for: President Clinton, the Washington Post, Rosie O'Donnell, T. Boone Pickens, Patti Labelle, and Monte Durham with Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta this is just few of their high profile customers. They have been featured in many publications such as: Cakes & Sugarcraft, Cake Craft & Decoration, Food Art, The Washington Post, Washingto- nian, Pastry Art & Design Magazine, Edible Artists Network, People Magazine (A Cake From Every State where their cake was chosen to represent VA), and American Cake Decorating Magazine. Some of Norman’s titles bestowed to him are: ICES Hall of Fame inductee, Northern Cambria Hall of Fame Inductee, Pastry Chef, Certified Master Sugar Artist, Top Ten Cake Artist. Zane is also a Pastry Chef and was also named by Dessert Professional Magazine as one of the Top Ten Cake Artist of the USA.
